The bike has a 500cc single cylinder carburated 4 stoke engine. It is capable of speeds well over 120 kmh and sometimes close to 200kmh top speed, while accelerating up to 100 kmh in less 3 seconds. It has no brakes to stop you, but is slowed down by engine braking and rider technique. The bike is designed in such a way that it can only make left corners while sliding the back out. A speedway bike has no gearbox, unlike a longtrack bike. A longtrack bike has a two speed gearbox in witch the first gear is for starting purpose only. A speedway bike only has front suspension where a longtrack bike has both front and rear suspension. To adjust the bike to the track and track conditions the engine and rear wheel sprockets can be changed  accordingly.
